• Recipient of a financial support for a sabbatical year of 2009, from LG Yonam Foundation, granted by the chairman of LG group in South Korea.
• 2005 recipient of a Grand Outstanding Research Achievement Award for the most excellent accomplishments in research in Inha University, granted by the president of Inha University [1st among the whole faculty]
• 2004 Recipient of an Outstanding Research Achievement award by the president of Inha University [2nd among the whole faculty]
• Recipient of a Grand Prize for patents awarded in Semiconductor center of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd (1997).
